• 3 egg yolks
• 150g (3/4 cup) granulated sugar
• 500g (2 1/2 cups) mascarpone cheese
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
• 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
• 20 ladyfinger cookies
• 1/2 cup milk
In a large bowl, whisk together 3 egg yolks and granulated sugar until well combined.
Add 100g mascarpone cheese to the egg yolk mixture and whisk until smooth.
Add 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, ensuring the mixture is creamy and well incorporated.
In a separate bowl, Mix the brewed coffee with 1 cup of milk.
Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture and arrange a layer of them in the bottom of a dish.
Spread a portion of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers, creating an even layer.
Repeat the process, layering dipped ladyfingers and mascarpone mixture until you reach the top of the dish.
Finish with a layer of the mascarpone mixture on top.
Dust the surface with unsweetened cocoa powder evenly.
Refrigerate overnight for the best taste!
